School reopens

Salaam, Eid Mubarak. The school reopens, but worse than many would've expected, I think not even one third of the students turned up today. Things had just gotten real ugly and real bad, real quickly. About Egypt, I mean. It feels as if Im out of breath, my heart feels constricted. I cant stop thinking about our brothers and sisters there. Listening to the khutbah yesterday, I cant help but became really disappointed. A lot. Do we really have nothing to say?! Aah.. I get it, we've been always late. Late in spreading awareness, late in lending help even only in our solat hajat and du'as.. Talking about this fear, or sadness or whatever we're experiencing right now.. During my early days as a muslim, I read a lot of books.. These recent occurrence just reminded me of something. Back then when I read about the rise and fall of Islam, about Sultan Muhammad al-Fateh and Constantinople, then about how thousands of muslims were killed before Salahuddin al-Ayyubi reclaimed Baitul Maqdis, I came to a conclusion that in order for Islam to climb back up, again, many will be killed too. It was sad that time, too.. This is the one of the many things that we might've forgotten. We knew it all along but still it hurts, but still its painful to see.. Day in or day out, keep Egypt, Syria, Palestin, Rohingya and all the Muslims in our du'as..
